Project: Smyth Upstairs

Description: This project was a furnishing, decorating and styling job of an apartment above the posh Smyth Hotel. With expansive windows and an open plan, we sought to create a series of comfortable spaces and individualized vignettes. A great photograph by Jeff Barnett-Winsby (link to jbwphoto.com) anchors the living room, setting the tone for the colors of the space. The kitchen is softened by lights from Niche Modern and a series of small and personal pieces of artwork. A custom light fixture in the dining room fills the room and creates a dynamic element within a rectilinear room.
