Project: Schack Shack
Location: Beulah Lake, Wisconsin
Description: This lakeside guest home was built as space for visiting family members. Restricted to the footprint of an existing garage and rigid zoning requirements, we sought to break up the exterior massing of the home with a series of cut out volumes. On the interior, the living space is a large double height volume, with lots of windows connecting it to the natural surroundings. The sleeping loft above is masked by a vertical cable system with felt ribbons woven in.
